Our Founding Story

GH Foundation was established in 2021 by a group of passionate individuals who recognized the urgent need to address the growing burden of non-communicable diseases in Tanzania while also tackling gender-based inequalities that exacerbate health disparities.

The founders came together with a shared vision to create healthier communities where all individuals, regardless of gender or socio-economic status, could access the care, support, and resources they need to thrive. They combined their diverse expertise in healthcare, gender equality, community development, and program management to create an organization that would drive meaningful change.

Since its inception, GH Foundation has grown from a small initiative to an impactful organization reaching thousands of individuals across Tanzania. The founders' commitment to transparency, accountability, and community-centered approaches continues to guide the foundation's work today.
